If you choose to connect Samsung Health, NourishAI can request read-only access to the categories you select: body composition (weight), nutrition, water intake, workouts, sleep, and steps. We do not request permission to write records to Samsung Health or to read exercise routes or location data.
NourishAI reads only the categories you select and authorize in the Samsung Health permission screen. You can decline access or leave individual categories unselected.
With your permission, NourishAI imports selected records to show them in your food diary, health history, wellness summaries, and trends. The app reads the records on your device and sends the selected data to your signed-in NourishAI account over an encrypted connection so it can be synchronized across your devices.
This page does not grant access by itself. When you return to the Samsung Health connection panel, choose the categories you want and select Connect to direct NourishAI to read and sync those records using your existing or newly granted permissions. If additional access is needed, Samsung Health will show its permission screen. You can deny a new request, disconnect Samsung Health in NourishAI, or revoke its access in Samsung Health settings at any time. Disconnecting or revoking access stops future reads and synchronization.
Disconnecting does not automatically delete records already imported into NourishAI. You can remove imported records using available account controls or delete your NourishAI account to remove its stored data. NourishAI does not sell health data or use it for advertising.
